Jose Mourinho has openly admitted that he is uncertain if he will stay with Roma in the future.
The Portuguese’s job has been jeopardized after poor run of results and the 60-year-old has even received an ultimatum, according to reports.
‘The Special One’ has enjoyed a remarkable success in his first two campaigns, leading the Romans first to Conference League title and then an Europa League final, dramatically lost on penalties to Seville.
However, the tide seems to have turned as the pressure is mounting on Mourinho’s shoulders, following an unsatisfying results in 2023-24 season.
“I don’t know.” the Portuguese replied, when asked if he will stay for 2024-25. “Before the Final in Budapest, I had promised players I would stay.”
“After the game with Spezia at the Stadio Olimpico, I told fans I’d stay, and here I am now.”
“There is Anti-Mourinhism too. Especially in Rome, you can find both sides,”
“Anti-Mourinhism is followed by people who are happy when Roma don’t win and when Roma have no European success.”
