Josh Jacobs missing the 1st day of the Las Vegas Raiders practice camp was no surprise. After all, Josh and the organization not only failed to agree on a deal extension by the deadline a few days ago, but the 1st team All-Pro RB still has not inked his organization’s tag.
The running back can’t be fined for making himself unavailable for the training camp, as he doesn’t have an inked deal.
Manager Josh McDaniels shared today that he would be more than happy to see Josh back with his teammates if the player decided to join.
“I know Ziegler and Delaney did everything they could in the past days to find a solution with his representation,” the head coach shared of the Las Vegas GM and the team’s senior vice president/director of football administration.”
McDaniels added that he respects Jacobs’ choice not to ink a contract at that time, and the RB must decide what he will do as that’s his future.
