Juventus and AC Milan played out a goalless draw in Turin in the highly-anticipated clash of Serie A’s sixth round, as Christian Pulisic missed a golden chance to deliver victory for the Rossoneri from the penalty spot early in the second half.
The first 45 minutes offered little for the fans, with both teams registering just one shot on target apiece—neither of which troubled goalkeepers Michele Di Gregorio or Mike Maignan. The tactical battle in midfield left few openings, as both sides struggled to create clear chances.
Juventus came close to breaking the deadlock shortly after the restart when Federico Gatti unleashed a powerful strike toward the bottom right corner, only for Maignan to make a fine save.
Just minutes later, Milan were handed a perfect opportunity to take the lead. Lloyd Kelly was penalized for holding Santi Gimenez inside the box, and Pulisic stepped up to take the penalty. However, the American’s effort sailed over the crossbar, leaving the visitors to rue a major missed opportunity.

Allegri turned to his bench soon after, bringing on Rafael Leao and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the 63rd minute. Leao immediately injected energy into Milan’s attack and twice came close to scoring, but both of his attempts missed the target.
