The reports that Italian football club Juventus is up for sale turned out to be nothing more than media suggestion.
The Exor holding company that owns Juventus majority stakes has no plans to put the Serie A club up for sale, a spokesman said on Monday, denying a report in newspaper Il Giornale from Monday. The information came out amid club’s financial irregularities and couple of sanctions from both Italian Football Association and UEFA.

The spokesman said in a statement that the report for a sale was “groundless.”, which means that the company, owned by Agnelli family will continue their work in Torino to develop the most crowned club at home level with 36 Serie A titles.
