Phillips has struggled to adapt to Pep Guardiola’s style of play and for the second season running he is sitting primarily on the bench. That may force some movement as the 28-year-old seeks playing time.
The England national will be keen on gaining back playing time in order to boost his chances of a Euro 2024 selection by Gareth Southgate.
Juventus so far seem to be the time, which may offer a solution as the Italians are looking to sign players on a budget after their last season’s suspensions.
They are believed to be set to make a loan bid in the hope of making it a permanent in the summer of 2024.
