The Saints and the Colts players have been suspended for the beginning of the season.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara and Indianapolis Colts CB Chris Lammons banned from the 1st 3 matches of the campaign for the bout that happened last year in Las Vegas, NFL shared.

Alvin and Chris can play in the preseason and return to the active squad on Monday, September 25th.

The Saints running back will be unavailable for the home opener vs. the Tennessee Titans and for the visits versus the Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers.

“I made a mistake, definitely a stupid decision, but I’m a man,” Alvin shared after training today before the ban was published.

Kamara and the league’s commissioner Roger Goodell talked face-to-face at the beginning of the week and the New Orleans player claimed that he was thankful for the chance to tell his side of the story personally.

The fight in Las Vegas happened on the eve of the Pro Bowl, and 1 man was injured.
