Nick is expected to be sidelined for 6 weeks. The surgery will be on Tuesday in LA.
Nick is 6th in the organization this campaign in tackles with 28. The linebacker missed 3 matches earlier in the campaign with an ankle problem.
Kansas City most likely will replace Nick with Drue Tranquill, who filled in for him during his unavailability earlier in the season. Tranquill leads the franchise with 37 tackles and also has almost 3 sacks and a forced fumble.
Bolton sustained his injury in the Chief’s 31-17 win against the LA Chargers during the weekend on a tackle of Keenan Allen in the final quarter.
Bolton, selected by Kansas City in the 2nd round of the 2021 NFL Draft, led the organization in tackles each of the past 2 campaigns, including a career-high 180 in 2022.
