The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Denver Broncos for the 16th time in a row on Thursday Night Football while triumphing in their 5th match in a row and securing the AFC-best record 5-1.
But much of the discussion in the franchise locker room after their 19-8 win was about that it’s not a big deal. While the organization on defense stopped Russell Wilson and Denver for most of the clash, allowing the Broncos only TD in the 4th quarter, Patrick Mahomes and the offense definitely could have done better.

Kansas scored 1 TD in 5 trips inside the opponent’s 20 and needed 4 FGs from Harrison Butker, including from 60 yards on the final play of the 1st half, to beat Denver.
Even their manager Andy Reid, who is happy with any win, this time shared that, “We strive for something better than what we are showing on the field at the moment.”
