NBA and Los Angeles Clippers superstar cleanup Kawhi Leonard had a procedure, but the expectations are that he will be at his best level for the camp of his franchise in October.
The team president of basketball operations shared that the Klaw is feeling all right, and the timetable for his recovery is 2 months.
Kawhi Leonard had a “clean-up” procedure around June 6 after tearing his meniscus in his right knee and is in the process of an eight-week recovery, Clippers’ Lawrence Frank said Thursday night.

“Just a cleanup, went fantastic,” the president shared after the Clippers’ draft. “Very fast procedure. Kawhi already feels fantastic. 8-week recovery from the time of surgery to be available to play 100% basketball again. The whole franchise is happy it was just a quick cleanup.”
Leonard scored more than 34 points, had more than 5 boards, and gave 6 assists in the playoffs vs. the Phoenix Suns before missing the rest of the matchup because of an injury. Phoenix eliminated LA Clippers in 5 matches.
