The player shared the news today.
A 5th-round pick out of Cincinnati at the 2009 NFL Draft, Kevin spent his whole career in the league with the franchise that drafted him. Huber was the main punter from his 1st season till the 1st half of the past campaign. His stats were getting worse, and the Bengals decided to replace him during the season with Drue Chrisman.
Kevin averaged more than 43 yards per punt and more than 37 net yards in the Bengal’s 1st 9 matches. The man who took his job, Chrisman, averaged almost 48 yards per punt and almost 43 net yards in the franchise’s last 7 matches.
Kevin was released at the beginning of December last year but inked with the organization’s practice squad.
