Liverpool began with a 3-1 victory against LASK in Austria.
However, the Austrian team scored 1st and were trailing at halftime, but Liverpool scored 3 goals in the 2nd half for the comeback win and took the 3 points from the match.
After the match, the Reds head coach shared to the team’s club channel that he is happy with how the young players performed in the match.
“Oh yeah. As I said, I know how the world is and that people expect us to fly through the Europe League. But’s that not the reality? It will not happen in the group stage; it will not happen in the eliminations,” the manager claimed.
Klopp also added that his players suffered with the pitch much more than LASK, but in the end, the most important thing was that his side could turn things around and win the 3 points.
