Jurgen Klopp has shared that the Reds have moved past the controversy over the incorrect VAR call that resulted in Luis Díaz’s goal not being allowed vs. Tottenham in London.
🗣️ “We are over that. That’s fine. We are not children. We just had a few questions to answer and did that. That’s it.”

PGMOL announced after the match that Díaz’s goal had been erroneously disallowed for offside in his team’s 2-1 loss against Spurs, and Jurgen claimed on Wednesday that the best scenario would be for the clash to be replayed.
However, the Liverpool boss changed his mind as he spoke with the media after his side’s 2-0 Europa League victory against Union SG. Now, Klopp claims that he has moved past the VAR decision.
“If I left the impression that I was still in the weekend clash, we are not,” Klopp shared. “We are over it. We are not children. That’s the post. From a focus point of view, there was not a problem.”
The Reds are now focused on Sunday’s Premier League clash against Brighton at Amex Stadium.
