Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has announced that his recent disagreement with Mohamed Salah has been “completely resolved.”
Salah and Klopp clashed during last weekend’s 2-2 draw against West Ham, with the Egypt forward expressing frustration at being left on the bench. After the game, Salah declined interview requests, suggesting there would be controversy if he spoke out.
However, Klopp moved to calm the situation on Friday, stating, “There’s no problem. We are absolutely fine with it. It’s a non-story.”
Klopp, who has already revealed his departure from the club at the end of the season, opted to start Salah on the bench against West Ham, bringing him on as a substitute in the 79th minute. The draw effectively dashed Liverpool’s hopes of clinching the Premier League title.

Reflecting on the incident, Klopp emphasized the importance of handling such matters internally. “I think we have the right to deal with these things completely independent of any expectations from the outside,” he explained. “If we didn’t know each other for that long, I am not sure how we would deal with it. But we have known each other for that long and respect each other so much that it’s really no problem.”, Klopp said.
