OG will likely not appear in Game 4 either, as the forward was evaluated before the organization left for Indiana today, and that assessment will continue.
Anunoby sustained the problem near the end of the 3rd quarter of New York’s Game 2 win against the Indiana Pacers when the forward was planting his leg in an effort to score a transition layup. OG was in immediate pain after the play, and Jalen Brunson was forced to commit a foul to give his teammate a chance to leave the court.
Knicks superstar Brunson is listed as questionable for the upcoming match.
Anunoby, who had notched a postseason career-high 28 points when he suffered the injury, has averaged 46 minutes per match in the 4 matches before Game 2.
