The NBA franchise from the Big Apple also revealed today that reserve Bojan Bogdanovic had a procedure on his left wrist. No more information was provided about either surgery except that both basketballers would be evaluated again in about 2 months.
Jalen was hurt in the 3rd quarter of the Pacers’ 130-109 win vs. his team in the past weekend. Brunson had 17 points, his lowest of playoffs in which he notched 40 or more 5 times, becoming just the 4th basketballer to reach that mark in 4 straight playoff matches.
Jalen finished with over 32 points per match in the postseason, 2nd only to the 33 that Joel Embiid averaged when New York defeated the 76ers in 6 matches in the 1st round.
Bojan sustained his problem in Game 4 of that matchup. The Serbian had notched 13 off the bench in Game 1 and became 1 of New York’s many missing basketballers as the campaign finished.
