New York's star scored 40 points for the first time in his career
Immanuel Quickley was unstoppable and scored career-high 40 points as the New York Knicks snapped a three-game losing streak with a 137-115 victory over the Houston Rockets on Monday night.
Julius Randle had 26 with RJ Barrett adding 19 points and Obi Toppin 15 for the Knicks.
Quickley was on the money on 14 of 18 shots from the field and added nine assists as the Knicks recorded a season-high 35 assists. He started in place of Jalen Brunson, who missed his second straight game with a bruised right hand.
Kevin Porter Jr. was the most valuable player for the Rockets with 26 points. Jalen Green had 19 and Kenyon Martin Jr. added 18 as Houston dropped its sixth straight game.
