Brooks Koepka slammed ‘brutally slow’ Patrick Cantlay for his dissapointing display which saw the four-time major champion lose to Spaniard Jon Rahm, despite leading the standings prior.
Koepka finished Sunday with three over par as Rahm went on to hit three under to claim his first Masters title.
The final group became increasingly agitated with the golfers in front of them, on of which was Cantley, as they took almost five hours to complete the last 18 holes.
Cantley has build himself a reputation of timekeeping, something that was once again noted by Koepka.
“Yeah, the group in front of us was brutally slow. Jon went to the bathroom like seven times during the round, and we were still waiting.”
However, the dissappointed American then added he had no hard feelings as it is just part of the game. He will be looking to compete at the very top in the next PGA events.
