The Los Angeles team outclassed their opponent from Chicago

The Los Angeles Lakers beat Chicago Bulls 121-110 as star player LeBron James made his return to the starting lineup on Wednesday night.

James scored 25 points and also had seven rebounds and four assists. The 38-year old made an immediate impact with his presence in his second outing after being sidelined for a month with torn tendon in his right foot.

‘I’m just trusting the work that I’ve been putting in,’ James said. ‘I know I put in a lot of work. I know my body.’

Anthony Davis scored 38 points and had 10 rebounds on his return to hometown, while D’Angelo Russel added another 17 points.

For Chicago Nikola Vucevic scored 29 points and had 12 rebounds with six assists to his name. DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points, while reserve Coby White added another 17 points and nine assists to the Bulls tally, who have succumbed to their second straight loss.

With this win, which is the fourth in the last five games Los Angeles are firmly in contention for a playoff position in the Western Conference. Next up on the road for them is a trip to Minnesota on Friday night. Chicago travel to Charlotte on Friday night as well.
