The Los Angeles Lakers came out on top in their clash against the Houston Rockets 107-97 on Saturday night.
Anthony Davis was the star of the show with 27 points and 14 rebounds. Austin Reaves scored 18 points from the bench, while LeBron James added another 16, along with 7 assists.
Fred VanVleet led the way for Houston with 22 points, while Alperen Sengun added another 21 points and 13 rebounds as the Rockets recorded their eight straight loss on the road.

The Lakers were the dominant team all round and they never looked like losing. They established a 54-34 lead in the first half and despite some valiant efforts from the Rockets, who cut that down to 86-72 going into the 4th period it was not enough.
“That’s probably one of the best quarters that we had this year, especially in the first half. We just haven’t been a first-half team,” James said. “It came with defending, getting out, sharing the ball, moving the ball and A.R. was special in the second.”
