The 38-year-old future has been a doubt ever since the Lakers were defeated by the Nuggets

Rob Pelinka has shed light on the imminent future of Laker’ star player LeBron James by stating that the 38-year-old is here to stay.

James’ future has been a hot topic ever since the Los Angeles team was knocked out by the Nuggets in the playoffs as the 38-year-old refused to rule out a retirement back then.

All of this seems to be put behind after Pelinka’s latest comments, who stated that LeBron is doing ‘behind-the-scenes work’ in preparation for the next campaign.

“Well, we’ll always let LeBron speak for himself, but we were all excited to see his Instagram post the other day where he was giving love to his new teammates, and the great leader he is doing the behind-the-scenes work to get things ready for the season,” Pelinka said.

Lebron himself hasn’t come out with an official statement about his status for 2023-24 campaign, but the signs of him staying are more than positive.
