LeBron James was once again the difference maker as he bagged home 30 points, along with 9 rebounds and 9 assists.
Anthony Davis had 17 points and 20 rebounds, while Austin Reaves added another 23.
The Lakers improved to a 7-0 record at home since the end of regular season and defeated the Warriors for the third time in the last seven days.
Stephen Curry led the way for the hapless Golden State with 32 points.
The Warriors miss out on the finals for the first time since 2014. They have taken part in 6 out of the last 8 playoffs and they all ended as them booking a place for the final round.
The seventh-seeded Lakers will face Denver Nuggets in a crunch playoff match-up. Game 1 will be held in Denver on Tuesday night.
