The Las Vegas Raiders have decided to name Luke Getsy as their next offensive coordinator. The news comes hours after ex-Arizona Cardinals manager Kliff Kingsbury declined the job.
Luke (39), dismissed by the Chicago Bears as offensive coordinator in January, was 1 of the least 5 candidates Las Vegas interviewed for the vacant job. Kliff, ex-Cleveland Browns OC Alex Van Pelt, Pittsburgh Steelers RC Mike Sullivan, and UCLA boss Chip Kelly were the other candidates for the position.

Van Pelt was appointed to be Patriots OC, while Kingsbury is close to the Commanders’ OC position.
In his press conference in January, Las Vegas manager Antonio Pierce shared he demands a “minimum 24 points” out of a new OC after the franchise averaged below 20 points per match under ex-manager Josh McDaniels and interim OC Bo Hardegree.
