Las Vegas Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo is being suspended 2 matches for violating the league’s performance-enhancing substances policy, the NFL confirmed today.
The policy violation is shared to be related to the quarterback using a prescribed medication without having a valid therapeutic use exemption from the National Football League.

Jimmy accepted the ban and will not appeal, as that means he will not be on the field in the 1st 2 matches of the 2024 campaign, but most likely will be with another team as rumors are that he will not remain a Las Vegas player.
The franchise is expected to release the QB before the 5th day of the new NFL year in the middle of next month when Garoppolo would earn over an 11 million dollar roster bonus.
The Raiders prefer to seek another quarterback rather than paying Jimmy that money. Garoppolo inked a 3-year, almost 73 million dollar deal that featured almost 34 million dollars guaranteed with the Raiders in the past offseason when Josh McDaniels was Las Vegas’ boss and Dave Ziegler the GM.
