The first half finished without goals. Inter had to wait until the 62^nd minute when Lautaro Martinez scored after Marcus Thuram’s assist to give the lead for his side. The Argentinian forward also doubled the lead of Milano’s club with his goal in the 77^th minute after Nicolo Barella’s assist.

Lautaro Martinez secured his hattrick after converting a penalty in the 85^th minute. However, that wasn’t enough for the Argentina international striker, and he scored his 4^th goal in the match in the 89^th minute.
