Napoli went ahead after 12 minutes – their Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia gave keeper Andrea Consigli no chance as he intelligently delayed his shot before slotting it into the far corner.
Less than 20 minutes later, the visitors doubled their lead thanks to Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who muscled off his mark and impressively thundered the ball from a tight angle into the back of the net.

Spalletti’s side also used the game as a warm-up for their away clash with Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie.
Napoli top the standings with 62 points from 23 matches, followed by Inter, who have a game in hand, on 44. Atalanta are third on 41.
