AC Milan won 2-0 against Lecce in their round 31 Serie A clash. Rafael Leao was once again prolific and scored both goal to seal the victory.
Milan had over 80% possession of the ball in the first half, but were unable to find the goal for a long time. In the middle of the half Theo Hernandez was fouled in the box and penalty was awarded, but VAR overturned the decision.
Milan opened the scoring five minutes before the break when Sandro Tonali crossed beautifully at the second post and Leao scored a header.

The home side continued their dominance in the second half and Leao got his double in the 74 minute when he got the ball at the center, stretched his legs to get to the box and fired a shot into the right post and in.
Rafael Leão is the second Portuguese player to score more than 10 goals in two consecutive seasons in Serie A, after Cristiano Ronaldo (21 in 2018-19, 31 in 2019-20 and 29 in 2020-21).
