LeBron James notched a late go-ahead 3-pointer and finished with 29 points, Luka Doncic had a triple-double, and the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 112-108 at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
Joel Embiid, who was disappointed by the lack of points during the match, scored an 18-footer that evened the score at 105. LeBron came right back down and hit a 3 with 72 seconds until the end of the game for the lead, and also notched a point on the next possession for a 5-point lead for the Lakers.
Luka scored 31 points, secured 15 boards, and had 11 assists.
Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 28 points. Joel missed 17 of 21 shots and finished the match with 16 points.
Luka, who is the scoring leader in the league, missed the last 2 matches as he traveled to his home country, where his fiancée gave birth to their daughter. LeBron missed LA’s previous game against the Celtics with sciatica, which kept him sidelined for the opening 14 matches of his team in the current campaign.
LeBron reached 10 points in the 2nd quarter in his 1st match since the end of his streak of 1,297 double-digit scoring clashes.
