The Tampa Bay team looked solid and well hooked up

The Tampa Bay Lightning came out victorious 4-2 in Game 5 against Toronto Maple Leafs to force Game 6, which will be held on Saturday.

Michael Eyssimont had a goal and an assist, as did Anthony Cirelli. Nicholas Paul and Alex Killorn also put their names on the scoresheet.

Goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 28 shots.

Morgan Rielly and Auston Matthews scored for Torornto as they missed an opportunity to clinch the match. Goaltender Ilya Samsonov made 34 saves.

Torornto was eliminated by the same opponent last year and will try to change their fortunes as the haven’t advanced in the playoff round since 2004.

“Didn’t get the result,” Toronto coach Sheldon Keefe said after the game. “But I don’t think it has anything to do with the moment or anything like that. It’s a good hockey team we’re playing.

“They played as perfect a road game as you could probably ask.”

Game 6 will be held on Saturday in Tampa and Game 7, if necessary, will be played on Monday back at Scotiabank Arena.
