Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams will face a two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy, according to an ESPN report. This marks the second time Williams has been disciplined by the league. Last season, the 23-year-old was suspended for four games for using a mobile device to place bets on non-NFL games while at a team facility, after an initial six-game suspension was reduced due to a rule change.

In response to his latest suspension, Williams told ESPN, “I have no choice but to take it on the chin,” expressing that he is in “good spirits” and eager to rejoin his teammates.
Williams has been an impactful player this season, recording 17 receptions for 361 yards and three touchdowns through six games (four starts). The Lions are currently 5-1, tied for the second-best record in the NFL.
