David was carted to the locker room with his problem at the beginning of the 4th quarter in Detroit’s 37-31 OT defeat to Seattle. Montgomery rode the cart with his right leg wrapped with ice.
“It seems he has a thigh bruise. We will know more in the upcoming days,” Lions manager Dan Campbell shared after the match.
The running back had another strong match with 16 carries for 67 rushing yards and a TD, as he also caught the ball for 7 yards.
In his debut campaign for Detroit after inking as a free agent, David has rushed for 141 yards and 2 TDs in his 1st 2 matches with his new NFL franchise.
