The LT reached an agreement on a 3-season, 60 million dollar extension that features almost 32 million dollars guaranteed his agent confirmed with the media today.
Detroit GM Brad Holmes also revealed the deal today but didn’t give any additional information.
Taylor (29) was starting the last campaign of a contract scheduled to pay him almost 14 million dollars. The left tackle is now under deal through the 2027 campaign.
Detroit has inked both of their starting offensive tackles to extensions during the offseason. A few months ago, the franchise inked starting right tackle Penei Sewell to a 4-year, 112 million dollar extension.
Detroit picked Decker with the 16th overall selection at the draft in 2016 out of Ohio State. Taylor 112 starts are 32 more than any other Detroit footballer during that period.
