Manchester United are also interested in Amrabat as the Red Devils’ head coach Erik ten Hag, and the Fiorentina midfielder spent time together at FC Utrecht.
However, the Premier League side from Old Trafford needed to sell before having funds to make an official bid to the Italian team for the midfielder as Harry Maguire’s transfer to West Ham failed and the needed funds until the end of the summer transfer window for a new transfer will be difficult to acquire.
Liverpool want to buy a midfielder until the end of the transfer window after Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Naby Keita, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Arthur Melo left in the summer and the only replacements at the moment are Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.
The Reds made bids for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, but both players preferred to join Chelsea instead of Jurgen Klopp’s club, and now Liverpool must look for alternatives.
