Liverpool beat Burnley 2-0 to top Premier League

Liverpool won against Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor, and Klopp’s side is back in the league’s 1st place, but Arsenal can return to the top if the Gunners defeat West Ham on Thursday.

Everything started perfectly for the away side as Darwin Nunez scored in the 6^th minute after Cody Gakpo’s assist. Liverpool continued to dominate, but they missed many chances, and the result remained only 1-0.

Diogo Jota returned as he replaced Darwin Nunez in the 84^th minute, and the Portuguese forward scored in the 90^th minute after Luis Diaz’s assist to double his team lead and secure the 3 points and the 1st place after the end of Boxing Day.
