The Merseyside team is still six points away from top 4

Liverpool managed to come back from conceding an early goal to win 2-1 vs West Ham on Tuesday night. The Reds continue their battle for top 4 finish, staying six points away from Manchester United.

The Hammers started on the right foot and scored inside the first 12 minutes. Great link up play between Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio finished with a perfect shot from the Brazilian from the edge of the box leaving his fellow countryman Alisson no chance to save.

Just six minutes later Liverpool came back into the game. Cody Gakpo collected a cross from Alexander-Arnold and fired a long-range shot into the bottom left corner for 1-1.

Before the half-time break Diogo Jota missed two great opportunities, missing the goal by inches. Ten minutes after the break Paqueta scored again, but VAR ruled his goal off for offside.

In the 67 minute Liverpool made the comeback. Andrew Robertson crossed from a corner kick and Joel Matip jumped higher than everyone in the box to head the ball into the top left corner.
