Liverpool scored the 1st goal after Mohamed Salah converted a penalty in the 16th minute. However, West Ham didn’t give up and tied the match right before the end of the 1st half as Jarrod Bowen headed the ball into the Reds net in the 42nd minute after a great cross from Vladimir Coufal, leaving Alisson helpless.
Curtis Jones scored in the final minute of the 1st half, but his goal was ruled out for offside.
Darwin Nunez netted the 2nd goal in the match to give the lead to the Reds in the 60th minute after Alexis Mac Allister’s assist.
Diogo Jota secured the 3 points for Klopp’s side with his goal in the 85th minute, making his team lead 2 goals after Virgil van Dijk’s assist.
Liverpool is in 2nd place with 16 points from 6 games – 5 victories and 1 draw, while West Ham is in 7th place with 10 points from 6 matches.
