The Reds have returned to profit for the first time since the 2018-2019 financial reporting period.
Liverpool’s latest set of accounts for the year to the end of May 2022 highlights how the wage bill rocketed from £314m to £366m last season – an increase of nearly 17 per cent.
Captain Jordan Henderson, Harvey Elliott, Andy Robertson, Alison Becker, Andy Robertson, Alisson Becker, Stefan Bajetic and Diogo Jota all penned new deals on improved terms during the financial reporting period.
