Liverpool are very close to ink a midfielder after Wataru Endo from Stuttgart is already on his way to the city to take his medical.

The Japanese midfielder (30) played in 33 Bundesliga matches in the past season, netting 5 goals and giving 4 assists.

His team avoided relegation last campaign by triumphing in a play-off vs. Hamburg.

The Reds decided to sign the Japan international after Moises Caicedo joined Chelsea for a British record transfer fee.
