Nothing is official yet, but Julen is close to returning to coaching in the Premier League after he left Wolverhampton in the past summer.
Current West Ham manager David Moyes has come under increasing pressure after disappointing results as the Hammers won only 1 of their last 9 league matches and were eliminated from the UEL in the ¼ finals.
The Hammers were humiliated by Chelsea 5-0 at Stamford Bridge at the end of the past weekend and are 9th in the standings.
David, who’s deal with the club runs out after the end of the season, has declined to speak about his future with the reporters, sharing that discussions about a new contract will not begin until their final match against Man City on May 19th.
Lopetegui triumphed in the Europa League with Sevilla in 2020 before being appointed Wolverhampton boss 2 years later.
