The Lakers defender Jarred after he was ejected in the 1st half.

After Jarred Vanderbilt was ejected in the 1st half of yesterday’s 135-119 defeat against the Houston Rockets for a run-in with Dillon Brooks, a few members of the LA Lakers defended Jarred’s actions vs. Dillon.

The Rockets forward fouled Vanderbilt on a dunk at the beginning of the 2nd quarter while the Lakers player was airborne. A few moments after that, Dillon jostled Vanderbilt with his arm while he was under the rim. Jarred responded by shoving Dillon in the chest with his forearm, drawing a technical foul from the official.

Shortly after that, there was another episode with Vanderbilt as he poked his finger on the side of Brooks’ head, received his 2nd technical foul, and got ejected from the match. Los Angeles player shared with the media after the game that Dillon called Jarred a “p—y” during the incident.

Vanderbilt didn’t speak with the media after the ejection.
