Luis Enrique is writing history with PSG, but his connection with Barcelona remains high. The Spanish manager, who led the Paris giants to their 1st ever Champions League trophy in the past campaign, still has the desire to coach the Catalan club in the future. However, he has 2 more years on his deal with the Ligue 1 champions.
Luis led Barcelona between 2014 and 2017 as he won a treble with the Catalan giants in his debut campaign. Despite having a deal with PSG until 2027, he has revealed that one day he wants to manage Barca again.
Enrique became PSG’s head coach in 2023 and did what all of the previous managers of the club had failed to do – to win the UCL, and he did it without superstars in his team like Neymar, Leo Messi, and Kylian Mbappe.
In less than 14 days, Enrique will play against Barcelona with PSG in the UCL as he will face the team where he made his name as a head coach, as the match is at the beginning of October in Catalonia.
