Dallas Mavericks’ star Luka Doncic’s injury is not serious and the guard will return to action “when the discomfort subsides,” reports ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Doncic suffered a hamstring injury in Dallas’ 106-113 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA.
The 24-year-old Slovenian is among the candidates for the most valuable player award this season and right after the match he told reporters he is now feeling good about the injury, which scared Mavericks’ fans.
Luka Doncic’s MRI on his thigh is clean and he’s expected to return as soon as discomfort allows him, source tells ESPN.

The MRI on his thigh actually showed that the problem is not serious and conservative treatment and rest should be enough.
