Roma’s striker Romelu Lukaku is set to head to Saudi Arabia this summer, according to reputable journalist Fabio Santini.
Currently on loan at Olimpico from Chelsea, Lukaku has impressed the club, and there is a desire to secure him permanently. However, it seems this may not come to fruition.
“Lukaku? A new twist with Juventus is unlikely because he has already accepted a multimillion-dollar offer from Saudi Arabia. I can already tell Roma fans that one thing is certain at the end of the season: Romelu will leave,” stated Santini on TVPlay.
Throughout the season, the 30-year-old forward has delivered strong performances, tallying 12 goals and 2 assists in 19 matches across all competitions. The main problem for him staying in Roma is the asking price from Chelsea for his rights. The Blues want at least 30 million euros in an attempt to minimalize the loss from his 100+ million transfer two years ago.
