Chelsea and other top EPL clubs want the Brighton & Hove Albion player, but Liverpool is now in the pole position as they had talks with the midfielder in the last months.
The Argentinian, however, want to play in the Champions League, which most likely will not be possible in the next campaign with Klopp’s team, as Manchester United and Newcastle each need only a point from their remaining 2 matches in the league to secure their place in the top 4 along with the champions Manchester City and Arsenal.
Mac Allister has a clause in his deal that if a certain high fee is paid, Brighton must sell him, and the only thing that the Reds need is to convince him that they are the right club for him.
