Manchester City are emerging as contenders to ink Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi in the current transfer window.
The Sky Blues will try everything possible to sign the defender after Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias sustained injuries in the 1-1 draw vs. Chelsea yesterday. John Stones is also sidelined with an injury.
Man City still don’t know how long Josko and Ruben will be out and then they will decide what offer to make to the Eagles for their captain. After yesterday’s clash with the Blues, Guardiola gave an update about Gvardiol and Dias injuries: “I think that they will be sidelined for several weeks. John Stones is also sidelined, I don’t remember how many months.”
Guehi has a deal with Crystal Palace until the end of the season, and it is expected that he will leave the Eagles as a free agent, but now that could change with Manchester City’s problems in defense. Marc was close to signing for Liverpool in the past summer, but his deal collapsed at the last moment, and he remained in London.
