Man. City want to keep Ilkay Gundogan

Manchester City hopes to keep Ilkay Gundogan in their squad for the next season as the player deal expires in the summer, and he will become a free agent.

If his contract extension is not agreed upon till June, he will leave Man. City for free.

Barcelona are very interested in bringing the German national player as a free agent, as at least 1 team in Italy also is very keen to add Gundogan to their squad.
