The Red Devils goalkeeper is part of the Cameroon squad for the Africa Cup of Nations, which begins next year in the Ivory Coast on January 13th.
André, who the Premier League team from Old Trafford bought during the summer transfer window for almost 60 million dollars from Inter, has given the green light to be part of the tournament but also demands to limit his time away from Manchester United as much as possible.
His country will have a warm-up camp in Saudi Arabia, where they are scheduled to face Zambia on January 9th.
However, the goalkeeper wants to remain with his club and be available for the Red Devils’ FA Cup 3rd round game vs. Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium on January 8th. Cameroon’s 1st match at AFCON is vs. Guinea on January 15th.
