Manchester United defeated Athletic Bilbao 3-0 at Estadio San Mamés, and only a miracle will stop them from playing for the title in the Europa League as the 2nd leg is at Old Trafford.
After half an hour, Harry Maguire provided a phenomenal cross in the penalty box, as Manuel Ugarte after assisted Casemiro, who scored to make it 1-0.
The crucial moment came in the 35th minute when, after a VAR review, the referee gave a penalty for the Red Devils and at the same time showed a red card to Dani Vivian as Bruno Fernandes converted it to make it 2-0 in the 37th minute.

In the last minute of the regular time of the 1st half, Fernandes with his 2nd goal in the game made it 3-0 after another assist from Ugarte.
In the extra time Ruben Amorim’s side was close to score 4th goal but the crossbar helped the home side to avoid it after Noussair Mazraoui’s shot.
Casemiro had two fantastic chances withing 60 seconds to score his 2nd goal and make it 4-0 for Manchester United but he failed to do it as the 2nd time the right post denied his goal after a header from corner.
We didn’t see any goals in the 2nd half despite the fact that the Red Devils played with 1 more player but they have comfortable advantage of 3 goals and Ruben Amorim is close to have the chance to win a trophy.
If both Manchester United and Tottenham hold on to their semifinal leads, we could be set for an all-English Europa League final between the teams currently 14th and 16th in the Premier League 😱 pic.twitter.com/hBg2fNhGPW
