Manchester United destroyed Athletic Bilbao 4-1 at Old Trafford and, with an aggregate score of 7-1 from the 2 legs, qualified for the Europa League final, where they will face Tottenham, who eliminated Bodo/Glimt, as the winner of the tournament will play in the Champions League next season.
The Basque team dreamed about a comeback as they finished the 1st half with a 1-goal lead as Mikel Jauregizar scored in the 31st minute.

However, Manchester United scored 3 goals in the last 20 minutes of the match and left no questions about who the better team was today. Mason Mount, who entered from the bench, tied the result 1-1 in the 72nd minute after Yoro’s assist, while Casemiro’s header after Bruno Fernandes’ cross secured the lead for the home team in the 80th minute.
Rasmus Hojlund scored to make the result 3-1 in the 85th minute as the assist gave him Amad Diallo, as that wasn’t all, as Mason Mount with his 2nd goal in the game, made it 4-1 in the extra time after a huge mistake from the Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper.
