The Red Devils won for a 4th consecutive time against the Villains.

Manchester United won against Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park, and the Red Devils are only 5 points behind the Villains in the standings as that was 3rd straight victory in the Premier League for Erik ten Hag’s side.

The Red Devils led at halftime as Rasmus Hojlund netted in the 17th minute after Harry Maguire’s assist.

After that, Scott McTominay replaced Marcus Rashford in the 73rd minute, and the Scottish scored in the 86th minute the winning goal for Man United after Diogo Dalot’s assist that secured the Red Devils 3rd consecutive win in the league as that was Unai Emery’s side 3rd straight defeat at Villa Park.

Manchester United are in 6th place with 41 points after 24 matches and can fight for the 5th place that can secure Champions League football next season.

Aston Villa are 5th with 46 points after 24 games, but Emery’s side is not in form as they had only 1 win in their last 4 matches in the league.
