Manchester City win 2023 UEFA Super Cup after penalties

Manchester City won the 2023 UEFA Super Cup after penalties 5-4 as the regular time ended 1-1 and according to the tournament rules, a shootout began.

Pep Guardiola’s side won that trophy for the 1^st time in its history after triumphing with Treble in the past campaign.

Seville scored the only goal in the 1^st half when Youssef En Nesyri netted a perfect Marcos Acuna pass.

At the beginning of the 2^nd half, the Spanish side have several chances to score a 2^nd goal but missed them, and the man in form in the Manchester City squad Cole Palmer scored a header in the 63^rd minute after Rodri’s assist to tie the match.
